Highway 135 links Puerto Escondido to state capital Oaxaca City, which lies 249 km (154 mi) north. Highway 200 connects the city to Bahias de Huatulco, which is located 119 km (74 mi) east, and to Acapulco, in the state of Guerrero, which is 402 km (249 mi) west. Puerto Escondido has a bus station offering service on Estrella Blanca, Oaxaca-Istmo and Cristobal Colon. Aeromexico, Mexicana, Aviacsa and Aerocaribe operate out of the city?s national airport.
