Highway 15 links Mazatlan to state capital Culiacan, which lies 220 km (137 mi) north. Highway 40 connects Mazatlan to Durango, the capital of the state of Durango, located 309 km (191 mi) to the northeast. Mazatlan has a main bus terminal with national service from the following lines: ETN, Primera Plus, Linea Elite, Estrella Blanca, Servicios Coordinados, Futura, Flecha Amarilla and Autobuses de Occidente. Mazatlan also has an international airport; Mexicana and Aerocalifornia offer service from Mexico City and other state capitals. U.S. flights arrive from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Houston and Seattle.
