Highway 200 links Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo to Acapulco, which lies 245 km (152 mi) southeast. This destination has a bus terminal that offers service from the following lines: Transportes Chihuahuenses, Estrella Blanca, Estrella de Oro, La Linea, La Via, Parhikuni, Primera Plus, TAP and Transporte del Norte. The international airport has flights on carriers Aeromexico, Mexicana, Alaska Airlines, America West, Continental Airlines, American Airlines, and Frontier Airlines.

Zihuatanejo International Airport ? Located off the Acapulco-Zihuatanejo Highway, in Colonia Aeropuerto, 10 minutes from Zihuatanejo and 20 minutes from Ixtapa.

Bus Terminal ? Located 2 km (1.2 mi) from downtown Zihuatanejo, on Paseo la Boquita, off the Zihuatanejo-Acapulco Highway.
