Highway 40 links Durango to Mazatlan, Sinaloa, which lies 309 km (191 mi) southwest. To reach Zacatecas, which is 310 km (192 mi) southeast, take Highway 45. To arrive at Torreon, Coahuila, take Highway 45 northeast for 268 km (166 mi). Durango has a bus terminal that offers service on lines Estrella Blanca, Omnibus de Mexico and Transelite Omnibus. The city also has an international airport where you can catch flights to major Mexican and U.S. cities on carriers Aeromexico, Mexicana and Aerocalifornia.
