To reach state capital Tepic, which lies 62 km (38 mi) west of San Blas, take Highway 15 to Highway 54. Both cities have bus terminals offering service on lines Auto Transporte del Pacifico, Elite, Omnibus de Mexico, Futura, Estrella del Pacifico, Estrella Blanca, ETN and TAP. From both of these terminals you can catch buses to other Mexican cities, such as Puerto Vallarta. Tepic also has an airport that offers flights on Aerocalifornia and Aeromexico.
