Touring La Paz?s Surrounding Areas ? Begin the day in La Paz?s boardwalk zone, where you can have breakfast at one of the restaurants. After the meal, take Highway 19 south to Todos Santos, at Km 79. In this town you?ll see beautiful old houses and various adobe constructions. During your stay, we recommend that you visit the Nuestra Señora del Pilar church and the Casa de la Cultura, which has regional anthropological and ethnographic exhibits. Next, continue along Highway 19 until you reach Cabo San Lucas, which lies 168 km (104 mi) south. There you can stay in a luxurious hotel and enjoy a massage in one of the spas. In addition, this destination offers a wide array of recreational activities and tourist attractions, such as golfing, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving and El Arco, a rocky formation along the coast that has become a city symbol. From there, take Highway 1 for 31 km (19 mi) until you reach San Jose del Cabo, then head to the corner of Blvd. Mijares and Calle Zaragoza, where you can have dinner at one of the restaurants serving international and local cuisine.
