THE MAYAN RIVIERA ROUTE

 

The Mayans, who built one of the most amazing civilizations in the world, left behind impressive architectural works in various states of southeast Mexico. In the state of Tabasco, you can visit the archaeological zone of Comalcalco, while in Campeche you can check out the ruins at Edzna and the incredible site at Calakmul, which is also an important biosphere reserve. In Yucatan, you can discover the secrets of such ancient cites as Uxmal, Chichen Itza, Dzibilchaltun and Ek Balam.
