BEACHES

 

San Blas has more than 30 km (19 mi) of tropical beaches with calm waters. During your stay, you can sit under the shade of a palapa and enjoy delicious fish and seafood dishes.

 

Bahia de Matanchen (Matanchen Bay). Located 7 km (4 mi) south of the port of San Blas, off Highway 54. This bay has a group of gorgeous beaches with calm waters and fine sand. Here restaurants prepare a wide variety of oyster dishes.

 

Miramar. Lies 20 km (14 mi) southeast of San Blas, off Highway 54. This beautiful beach with moderate waves is 200 meters (660 feet) long and 12 meters (40 feet) wide. It is the ideal spot for playing sports like volleyball.

 

Las Islitas. Lies 15 km (9 mi) southeast of San Blas. Here the beaches are separated by various rock formations. This is a good place to enjoy calm clear waters.

 

La Manzanilla. Located 20 km (14 mi) southeast of San Blas, off Highway 54. This beach is 200 meters (660 feet) long and 15 meters (50 feet) wide. Here you?ll find a quiet beach surrounded by lush vegetation, as well as various establishments serving fish and seafood dishes.

 

Los Cocos. Located 14 km (9 mi) southeast of San Blas, off Highway 54. This is a beach with moderate waves and numerous coconut trees. This beach stretches 2 km (1.2) and is 10 meters (33 feet) wide. Here you can relax on fine golden sand and enjoy the warm blue-green waters.

 

El Borrego. Located 2 km (1.2 mi) south of San Blas. Here you?ll find a beach with soft sand and moderate waves.

 

Santa Cruz. Located 21 km (13 mi) southeast of San Blas, off Highway 54. This beach lies in a rocky inlet surrounded by vegetation.
