The beaches bordering the Pacific Ocean await you with open arms so that you can have a romantic honeymoon accompanied by the ocean waves. Begin your journey in Puerto Vallarta, in the state of Jalisco, 352 km (219 mi) from Guadalajara. This port city is located in Bahía de Banderas, the second largest bay on the American continent. Here you can visit famous and attractive beaches like Mismaloya, where you can sport fish, and Los Arcos, an area of impressive rock formations ideal for diving. In Puerto Vallarta you can enjoy the services of hotels like Boutique and Gran Turismo and taste succulent seafood dishes. From this exotic spot, take Highway 200 south to arrive at Costalegre (Coast of Happiness), a splendid seafront of 160 km (99 mi). It includes the bays of Navidad, Tenacatita, Costa Careyes, Chamela and Costa Majahuas. There you can also enjoy the beauty of beaches like Cuastecomates, Melaque, El Tamarindo and El Tecuán ? spots offering endless activities including sport fishing, diving and snorkeling. If you like golf, here you will find multiple golf courses ranking in quality with the world?s best, as well as spas that offer the ultimate in relaxation techniques.  Continue your trip along Highway 200 heading south until you arrive at Manzanillo, in the state of Colima, considered on of the most beautiful beach destinations in the country. It is also reknown as the "World Capital of the Flying Fish," since it is one of the places with the greatest abundance of this species which is the main catch in the Dorsey Cup (a fishing tournament began in 1957). On the beaches of Miramar and La Audiencia, you can try various aquatic sports like diving and snorkeling, or rent a yacht to tour the breath-taking bay of Santiago. Manzanillo has modern hotel complexes in Mediterranean, Moor and Mexican styles, along with three golf courses of international prestige as well as restaurants that offer traditional Colimese dishes like ceviche (raw seafood in a citric marinade) or tatemada (a stew made from a base of pork backbone). To continue your journey, take a flight from the Playa de Oro International Airport to Ixtapa in the state of Guerrero. Ixtapa has a modern tourist complex with elegant hotels and an important marina with the space for 600 vessels.  Here you can take advantage of beautiful beaches, such as La Ropa and Playa Linda, ideal for resting and practicing all types of aquatic sports like windsurfing or diving amongst reefs and coral banks. Outside of Ixtapa you will also find first-class accommodations for camping and ecotourism, as well as an exclusive golf club with superior fittings. To wrap up your journey through Pacific beaches, take another flight from the International Airport of Zihuatanejo, located 11 km (7 mi) east of Ixtapa, to Acapulco.  Here you will find an important hotel infrastructure enriched by the luxurious tourist site, Punta Diamante.  Take advantage of the bay?s incomparable night life, considered the best in all of the Pacific, and do not miss the entertainment of the clavadistas of La Quebrada, who each night leap into a tiny cove from a cliff 45 meters (148 feet) up. Around Acapulco you can acquaint yourself with other splendid sites like Pie de la Cuesta (a restful beach with horse-riding), Puerto Marqués (a calm bay) and Barra Vieja (a peaceful beach), where you will be delighted with the succulent seafood dishes offered in their the traditional restaurants.
