ARCHEOLOGICAL ZONE OF PAQUIMÉ, CASAS GRANDES

This ancient Indian settlement in Chihuahua State was one of the most important cities in northern Mexico between 900 and 1300 A.D. It served as a major trade center, connecting Mexico?s Toltec civilization with the Pueblo-Oasis tribes of the American southwest.
