Huatulco is a coastal paradise with crystalline waters and various types of sand. It is located 277 km (171 mi) from Oaxaca and 50 minutes, by plane, from Mexico City. Because it is on the Pacific coast and has lowland jungle vegetation, the climate is hot and semi-humid, with an average temperature of 28º C (82º F) and sunny days throughout most of the year. This destination has nine bays, which are protected areas, and 36 beaches, which are part of the Bahias de Huatulco National Park. Most of the beaches have calm blue-green waters, such as those at the Tangolunda Bay, where you?ll find top-notch hotel resorts, excellent plazas and one of the best golf courses on the Pacific coast.
