FISHING

 

The waters of Isla Mujeres are ideal for catching mahi mahi, marlin and sailfish. The best time of year to fish is between April and August. During those months, the island hosts various fishing tournaments, such as the Gran Torneo de Pesca Deportiva (The Grand Sportfishing Tournament).
