Ensenada has numerous options to enjoy a night out on the town. The most traditional place is Hussong?s Cantina, the oldest cantina in the region. There you can listen to live groups playing norteña, ranchera, contemporary and rock music in a very festive atmosphere. Other notable establishments are Papas and Beer bar, which has excellent DJs spinning the latest tunes; Langostin, which offers Latin music; and Octopus, where you can listen to Latin pop and rock music. If you want to see bands playing Rock en Español, we recommend that you visit Squid, however if you prefer to dance to the rhythm of norteña music, the best bet is El Gran Chaparral, which has live music and shows. Finally, for those looking for bohemian atmospheres, Ensenada offers Café Café and El Patio, where you can listen to New Orleans-style jazz.
