ENTERTAINMENT AND SPORTS EVENTS

 

Each year, Ensenada hosts a wide variety of world-renowned events.

 

Rosarito-Ensenada Bicycle Race. This 50-mi (80-km) competition, which is held in April, draws thousands of cyclists. In September, the city hosts another edition of the race.

 

Newport-Ensenada International Yacht Regatta. Considered one of the most important regattas in the world, this event is held in April. The highly skilled participants compete aboard spectacular boats.

 

The Baja 500, Ensenada Grand Prix and the Baja 1000 auto races. These races are held between July and November. These competitions draw thousands of fans who come out to watch 4 x 4 off-road, all terrain and Nascar races.
