In Ensenada?s surrounding areas you?ll
find marvelous natural areas offering ideal conditions for camping.
Constitucion de
1857 National Park. Take Highway 3 about 72
km (44 mi) east of Ensenada, then follow a dirt road
turnoff. This park offers designated camping areas and other services, such as
cabin rentals.
Sierra de
San Pedro Martir National Park. Take the Transpeninsular Highway 1
236 km (146 mi) southwest of Ensenada, then follow the turnoff
to San Telmo de Abajo. At
this park you can visit the National Astronomy Observatory, which affords a
spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez. Here you can go camping
in exclusive areas surrounded by spectacular landscapes.
