In addition to its rich offering of culture and history, Queretaro and its surrounding areas provide various places where you can enjoy a family outing.

Parque Ecologico Queretaro 2000 ? Located on Blvd. Bernardo Quintana. This ecological park has soccer and baseball fields, a shooting range, a swimming pool, an outdoor auditorium and a library, among other attractions. It?s also an ideal spot for camping.

Zoologico Wameru ? Located just 20 minutes from the city, off the Queretaro-Tequisquiapan Highway. This zoo has a wide variety of animal species, a learning center, a petting zoo, as well as a center that conducts research on animal reproduction.

Cimacuatico ? Take the Queretaro-Huimilpan Highway 400 to Km 9, then follow the turnoff that leads to the park.  This spot is ideal to do various recreational activities with friends or family, including fishing, boating, barbeques and ATV riding.

El Oasis ? Located 4 km (2.5 mi) southeast of Ezequiel Montes, off Highway 120. This place has two swimming pools with thermal waters. It also has water slides, recreational areas, gardens, rustic facilities and excellent services.

Neptuno ? Located in Tequisquiapan, 65 km (40 mi) from the city of Queretaro. This swimming resort has a hotel, a children?s play area, a game room and private pools with thermal waters.
