WEDDINGS ON YACHTS
To begin
life as a couple, there is nothing like an adventurous start at sea on board a
ship. Ship variables include to marrying
aboard a small vessel, yacht or transatlantic cruise ship, but there are even
those who prefer to go not so far as so deep, and make their vows in a
submarine. That is only for those whose
love is extreme!
Getting
married on a yacht has a very sophisticated ring to it. Seeing as you surely
want the event coordination to be of best quality, it is important to point out
that that the majority of tourist destinations found on the Pacific, Caribbean
and Gulf of Mexico have the infrastructure,
providers and coordinators within hotels and independent businesses to add the
elegant touch and good taste that you dream of.
We recommend locations such as Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Acapulco,
Guerrero, Cancún, Cozumel and Playa del Carmen in
Quintana Roo, just to mention a few, where the
year-round temperature is always pleasant, usually between 25 and 27 °C.
There are
intimate wedding packages for 2 to 80 people, with departures at 9:00 a.m. or
in the evenings at 6:00 p.m., offering two very different options. One is full of sunshine and the other
illuminated by the moon, but both ceremonies take place on deck decorated with
many flowers and the officiating minister in front of a calm sea. We suggest formal table linens, a special
dinner with a wedding buffet or a grilled selection of meats and seafood along
with champagne for the toasts. It will
be an unforgettable experience.
If you
want your wedding to be large-scale, there is nothing like the cruise ships
that stop in Cancún and Cozumel and then continue on
to other Caribbean islands. These luxury ships have different wedding
alternatives: the main ballroom, the dining room, on deck or the dance
floor. In the luxury boats, they can
organize formal dinners for more than 250 guests with meats, seafood, tropical
fruits and all types of wines and liquors, or for up to 400 guests if it is tipo cóctel
(cocktail-style) with sofas and an open bar.
A wedding
like this should not lack music, and the ideal would be a violin ensemble. But if it interests you, there are also
tropical groups so you can dance to the rhythm of the sea or modern bands
playing international music. It is all
up to you! With the immense ocean stage
and the sky full of stars, weddings on the Mexican seas are simply spectacular.
