Artisans from Xalapa make beautiful hand blown glass objects, ceramics and pottery, as well as gorgeous oil paintings and rustic furniture made of pinewood and bamboo. You?ll also find embroidered textiles, candles, flower arrangements and many other items in the city?s marketplaces, such as the Mercado Jauregui. Another good option is the Casa de las Artesanias, on Zamora Street, in the Los Lagos area.
