HISTORICAL ARCHITECTURE

In Villahermosa you can marvel at the architecture of various historic edifices built from the 16th to 19th centuries.

Palacio de Gobierno ? Located between Av. 27 de Febrero and Vazquez Norte. This building has a sober neoclassical façade flanked by two towers on the corners. Inside the edifice, the original French-influenced ornamentation remains intact.

Templo de la Concepcion ? Located on Ignacio Allende Street. Commonly known as La Conchita (The Little Conch), this religious construction was built at the end of the 19th century. The church has a neogothic façade and a main tower.

Catedral (Cathedral) ? Located on the corner of Paseo Tabasco and 27 de Febrero. This 17th-century edifice has a sober baroque-style façade.
