In Villahermosa?s surrounding areas you?ll find beautiful nature areas that offer ideal routes for climbing.

 

Agua Selva. Located 69 km (43 mi) southwest of Villahermosa, off Highway 180. This nature reserve is covered with 2,000 hectares (4,940 acres) of jungle vegetation At this place you?ll find numerous 100-meter (330-foot) cliffs that are perfect for those who like rock climbing.

 

La Sierra State Park. Located 48 km (30 mi) south of Villahermosa. In this region you?ll find the hills of El Madrigal, Poana, Tapijulapa and La Campana, in Tacotalpa. They make up part of the Sierra de Tabasco range and are good locations for mountain climbing.
