HISTORICAL ARCHITECTURE
In Villahermosa
you can marvel at the architecture of various historic edifices built from the
16th to 19th centuries.
Palacio de Gobierno ? Located between Av. 27 de Febrero and Vazquez Norte. This building has a sober
neoclassical façade flanked by two towers on the corners. Inside the edifice,
the original French-influenced ornamentation remains intact.
Templo de la Concepcion
? Located on Ignacio
Allende Street.
Commonly known as La Conchita (The Little Conch),
this religious construction was built at the end of the 19th century. The
church has a neogothic façade and a main tower.
Catedral (Cathedral)
? Located on the corner of Paseo
Tabasco and 27 de Febrero.
This 17th-century edifice has a sober baroque-style façade.
