In Tepoztlan you
can visit a 16th-century
church known for its aesthetic
value and cultural influence from the colonial era.
Templo y Convento de
la Natividad ? Located between Av. Revolucion and Zaragoza. Dominican friars built this edifice
in the 16th century.
On the plateresque
façade you?ll see an image
of the Virgen del Rosario. The church has a large atrium, a wall with multiple
parapets, chapels and a gothic-like
cloister that houses a museum. Open Tuesday through
Sunday from 10:00 to 6:00.
