In Tijuana and its surrounding areas you can visit various swimming resorts and recreational areas where you can have a fun family outing.

 

Albercas Rancho El Rinconcito. Located at 600 Guadalupe Street, in the Ejido Matamoros. At this extraordinary place you can enjoy a healthy family recreational outing. The swimming resort has grass areas, sports facilities, swimming and wading pools, water slides, barbecue grills, a children?s play area and horse rentals. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 to 6:00.

 

Parque de La Amistad. Located at 600 Av. del Parque, in Mesa de Otay. This park has a children?s play area, an open-air theater, a puppet theater, a manmade lake where you can rent boats, a bicycle motocross track and go-cart rentals. Open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. during the summer and from 6:00 to 6:00 in the winter.

 

Parque Morelos. Located at 16000 Av. Insurgentes, in La Mesa. This is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor recreational activities in the park?s forested and grass areas. It also offers a small zoo, a children?s play area, an auditorium, wading pools, water slides and a manmade lake where you can rent boats. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 to 5:00.

 

Mundo Divertido. Located at 15035 Via Rapida Poniente, at Av. Paseo de los Heroes, in the Zona Urbana Rio.  In this modern amusement park you can enjoy a roller coaster, a miniature golf course, a train ride for children, an arcade and a go-cart track. Open Monday through Saturday from 12:00 to 9:00 and Sundays from 11:00 to 8:00.
