In Tijuana you’ll see several examples of avant-garde constructions, revealing the city’s multi-faceted architectural styles.

Centro Cultural Tijuana. Located on the corner of Av. Paseo de los Heroes and Av. Francisco Javier Mina, in the Zona Urbana Rio. This complex, which promotes art and culture, was designed using avant-garde architectural and visual elements. Among the notable attractions the cultural center offers is an Omnimax planetarium, where uses state-of-the-art technology for film projections.

Arco/Reloj Monumental. Located on Av. Revolucion. This monument stands as the gateway to Tijuana and is considered an icon of avant-garde architecture.
