El Vallecito. Located in Tecate, 72 km (45 mi) east of Tijuana, off Highway 2. At this site you can see cave paintings of human and animal figures. The most notable works are El Hombre Enraizado (The Rooted Man), El Diablito (The Little Devil) and El Tiburon (The Shark). Open Wednesday through Sunday from 8:00 to 5:00.

Macahui. Located 154 km (95 mi) east of Tijuana, off Highway 2. At this place, which lies in a desert zone, you can see a series of geometric and anthropomorphic designs similar to those found in Peru?s Nazca region.
