MOUNTAIN CLIMBING

 

Near Saltillo you?ll find a nature reserve with high peaks and mountain chains with lush vegetation, which will put your mountain climbing skills to the test.

 

Sierra de Arteaga National Park ? Located 54 km (33 mi) east of Saltillo, off the state highway.  Along this mountain chain, which is covered with pine, cedar and oak forests, you can go climbing at such peaks as the Montaña de la Martha and the Montaña de la Viga, which are 3700 and 3550 meters (12,210 and 11,715 feet) above sea level, respectively.
