DIVING
In San Luis Potosi?s surrounding areas you can go scuba
diving and cave diving in springs and in a cavern covered with stalagmites
and stalactites.
Laguna de Media Luna (Half Moon Lagoon) ? Located 120
km (74
mi) east of San Luis
Potosi. This is the city?s most
important water source. It
has six springs with clear waters and an average water temperature of 27º to
30º C (81º to 86º F). This is the ideal spot for scuba
diving and cave diving. Here you?ll find a cavern with holes
in the ceiling, which allows the
sunlight to filter in, creating a truly unique setting.
At the lagoon?s
Centro de Buceo (Diving Center),
you can take lessons from certified
instructors, who will accompany you on the
dive and provide all the
necessary scuba gear.

covered with stalactites and stalagmites. It?s a great spot for cave diving.
