FESTIVALS AND TRADITIONS

 

La Paz is more than just a beach destination; it also hosts important festivities throughout the year. Among the most representative celebrations that take place here is the La Paz Carnival, which is held from Feb. 15 ? 29. During this colorful event, you?ll see people dancing and walking along the streets, the boardwalk and the beaches. Another notable event is the Fiestas de Fundacion de La Paz (a celebration commemorating the city?s founding), which is held from May 2 ? 6 and features diverse artistic and cultural events.
