FESTIVALS AND TRADITIONS

 

Manzanillo is a beach destination where you?ll see fiestas and celebrations throughout the year. In the beginning of spring the city hosts the Manzanillo Carnival, one of the port?s main events. During the festivity, costumed groups and floats file down the city?s streets. There?s also the Manzanillo Fair, which takes place from Apr. 29 to May 1. The fair marks the inauguration of the famous Fiestas de Mayo, which offers art exhibits, cultural and folkloric events and rodeos.
