Chipinque Ecological Park. Located about 8 km (5 mi) south of Monterrey, in the town of San Pedro Garza Garcia. This is a nature reserve that covers an area of 1625 hectares (4,013 acres). The forest area is home to 120 bird species and 22 mammal varieties. This park has 36 trails that are optimal for mountain bike riding. Open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
