RELIGION AND MYSTICISM

Bohemia and romantic music in Mérida are closely linked to those of Cuba and Colombia

NIGHTLIFE

Merida has a wide variety of options to enjoy a night on the town. You can take a stroll down the main avenue, Paseo Montejo, to admire the beautiful buildings and you can stop along the way to have some coffee and listen to local ballads. You can also visit the city?s many restaurants, bars and nightclubs, such as La Tratto or La Mancha, where you can listen to lounge, pop and electronic music until the break of dawn. For those who like dancing to Caribbean rhythms there?s the Mambo Café. If you want to do some karaoke-style singing and improvising, drop in on Canta Mexico.
