In Hermosillo you can enjoy some of the best cuisine in the state of Sonora, including fish and seafood dishes like caldo largo and sopa de mariscos (fish and seafood soups), pescado zarandeado (grilled fish prepared with various seasonings), bass stuffed with seafood, caguamanta soup prepared with manta ray fillets, and the traditional mochomos (fried shredded beef or veal served with flour tortillas). For dessert you can indulge in the famous coyotas, tasty flour tortillas made with brown sugar.
