ARTS AND CRAFTS

In Hermosillo you?ll find various regional crafts made by Seri, Yaqui and Pima artisans. Among the most notable are mesquite wood and ironwood sculptures in the form of animals, masks, baskets and necklaces made of seashells, rattlesnake vertebrae, fish and seeds.  You?ll also find belts made from deer hoofs, musical instruments, skirts, blouses, tablecloths, cloth napkins and robes. You can buy these items and much more at the Mercado Municipal market or El Correo.
