turnovers and tecueleña style (baked
shrimp with cheese).Other regional
favorites are tlatishuile, a thick
stew with various spices, and caldo de
cuarentena, a chicken soup seasoned with saffron and cumin. For tasty
desserts, indulge in the cheesecake or corn pie.
