In Cuernavaca you?ll find traditional artisan markets near the Palacio de Cortes, the Cathedral and the main square, which are located on Av. Hidalgo and Blvd. Juarez. These markets offer the best in regional crafts. The city has shopping malls, such as Plaza San Diego, on Av. San Diego; El Pueblito, on the corner of Av. Cuauhtemoc and Cascada; Galerias; and Plaza Cuernavaca, the most important commercial center. The latter two are located on Av. Plan de Ayala. In these malls you?ll find restaurants, movie theaters and many stores.
