Mountain biking has become one of the most popular extreme sports in the world and the craze is alive and well in Aguascalientes. In the city?s surrounding areas you?ll find the ideal conditions for an exciting mountain bike ride.

Tunel de Potrerillo. Located 64 km (40 mi) from the city of Aguascalientes, in the town of Rincon Romos. The dirt roads, trails and downhill runs at this spot invite you to experience the thrill of mountain biking as you put your skills to the test.

Sierra del Laurel. To arrive at this 8,400-hectare area with beautiful wildlife, take the Aguascalientes-Villa Hidalgo Highway 9 to the Aguascalientes-Calvillo Highway 70. This is a very attractive place to go mountain biking, largely because it has a trail called Los Adobes with a high difficulty grade.
