Viesca, Coahuila

This Magical Town is located in an area of desert  between scrubland and mesquite trees. The valley  itself offers an abundance of candelilla (a species  of spurge), maize, cotton and wheat since it is the point where the Nazas and Aguanaval rivers meet. It is here, 43.5 miles from Torreón, that the town of Villa de San José de Viesca y Bustamante, now known as Viesca, was built.
