With a permanent population of about 20,000, Puerto Escondido may be a modestly sized town, but you’d never know it from its nightlife.

For Puerto Escondido nightlife, go to the street for pedestrians known as El Adoquín. Here, there are restaurants, bars, and nightclubs to suit all tastes, along with a huge variety of stores, boutiques, and art galleries where you might find an opening  and a chance to get to know the artist face to face.

As a major tourist destination in Oaxaca, the area makes good use of its natural resources to provide a venue for surfing tournaments and a wealth of fun activities. During the sporting competitions, the beach is transformed into a vast cornucopia of nocturnal diversion with a variety of rock, hip hop, and electronic musical events.

Puerto Escondido has a lot to recommend it, but perhaps its most attractive feature is an ability to accept and welcome visitors from every corner of the globe.
