Rivera Nayarit is recognized as a world-class golf destination, since it has courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Jim Lipe, Robert Von Hagge and Percy Clifford, converging in an environment of tropical forests, mountains and views to the Pacific that have attracted professional players such as Phil Mickelson, Mike Weir and Vijay Sing.

An example of these magnificent sites is the Golf Course Nayar, located between the Pacific Ocean and the River Ameca. This design by Jim Lipe, in Nuevo Vallarta, is a par 71 with views to the Pacific, River Ameca and the Mountains of Sierra Madre.

One of the most complex of the Riviera is the Golf Course El Tigre. A par 72 created by Robert Von Hagge challenging to any player.

By Percy Clifford, Golf Course Flamingos is recognized as having a proper difficulty for every player and by its design, of mounds and hills in the middle of a tropical jungle, with natural lagoons and mangroves.

One of the favorites is the Golf Course in Litibú, designed by Greg Norman and which has been the venue of the International Canadian Golf Tour Tournament. It has 18 holes in par 72 with links style holes, others in the jungle and the last ones over the Pacific Ocean.

However, one of the most spectacular is the Golf Course Punta Mita Pacífico. Par 72this design by Jack Nicklaus offers extraordinary sights to the sea and it is considered as one of the best in the world.

Among the most recent, Golf Course Punta Mita Bahía is as astonishing as its brother course. It has 6 holes with sight to the sea, a constant in both designs by Nicklaus.
