Acapulco rafting does not require previous experience. Near the port of Acapulco, rafting is done on rapids that flow through the state of Guerrero.

The Papagayo River has one of the most popular stretches for rafting. Travel five miles in inflatable boats, and enjoy the natural surroundings while experiencing the thrill of of the sport.

The excitement of boarding an inflatable raft and descending into rapids is available to everyone in the family. Safety equipment and instructions are provided by the trip organizers, who take you through Guerrero’s forested mountain areas.  

Trips can be organized from the hotel or in the Papagayo River Park, a major attraction in the Acapulco area. Typical trips are four to five hours long and and include transportation, lunch, and safety gear.
