The Coronado are a group of four small islands situated in front of the north-east coast of Baja California, their small beaches are among the most beautiful of the state. They poses a great biodiversity richness which is why it is easy to admire in the distance groups of sea lions and elephant seals; dolphins, pelicans or to fish some goldfish or roosterfish. The islands form part of the biggest natural marine reserve in Mexico where 160 species of birds coexist. It is an ideal place to swim and experience the nature.

In the month of July you cannot miss the flocks of hundreds of pelicans that fly in spiral into the sunrise. How to get there
The easiest way is to arrive by airplane to the Tijuana International Airport, Baja California, to where there are around 120 flights daily from all the points of the country. Other option is the Mexicali airport which operates 14 daily flights including three of the main Mexican airlines. If you wish to arrive by highway, you can do it in car or using some of the bus lines that operate in Baja California. The state has a highway network that connects the main cities and municipalities. If you travel in car use the highway route of the touristic corridor Tijuana-Rosarito-Ensenada, through which you can make the journey in approximately one hour, aside from enjoying the most impressive views that the Trans peninsular Scenic Highway or the route Tijuana to Mexicali through the Zona de la Rumorosa offer.
