In Tapalpa you will be able to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of one of the most important natural reserves in southern Jalisco: the Sayulay lagoon wetlands of the Nevado de Colima, which offers a sample of the region’s rich wildlife. This Magic Town in the State of Jalisco has over 40,000 hectares of natural areas that make it a great recreational park where you will be able to participate in all kinds of extreme sports such as hang gliding, ultra-light, and, of course, paragliding.
Enjoy the natural attractions in Tapalpa such as the Salto del Nogal, a waterfall over 328 feet high, which descends upon a pine and oak forest on whose rocks you will be able to practice climbing and mountaineering. This quiet town has several restaurants and places for where to stay, so that you will enjoy your flight day. As a tip, it is best to fly in spring and summer.
How to get there:
From the city of Guadalajara, take highway 54 going to Ciudad Guzman and about 7 miles before arriving at Sayula, follow the detour to Tapalpa, about 21 miles ahead.
