Tapijulapa, Tabasco
As with many Tabascan towns, Tapijulapa lies between majestic rivers: Tapijulapa's are the Oxolotan, with sulfurous waters, and the Amatan, crystalline blue a good part of the year. And that's not all: this charming town with just three thousand residents is surrounded by hills covered in ceiba, amate, matapalo, and chicozapote trees, making it one of the best-conserved high-jungle areas in the state.
