Parras de la Fuente, Coahuila

The Americas' oldest vineyards, extraordinary history, and the unbelievable beauty of paths through the Sierra are just some of the surprises that Parras de la Fuente had ready for us. Halfway between Saltillo and Torreon in a mostly arid region, this small town brims with walnut trees so as to form a literal and figurative oasis of life in the middle of the desert.

How to Get There

Parras de la Fuente, Coahuila

From Torreon take Federal Highway 40 to the junction with State Highway 102, turning right towards Parras. From Saltillo the directions are the same except when you get to Highway 102, you turn left. Distance chart: To Saltillo – 150 km; To Torreon – 160 km; To Monterrey – 232 km
