Xico, Veracruz

A party's always going on in Xico; any reason is enough for the mole-sauce pots to get put on the fire. The town's residents are boisterous and friendly, having every reason to do so: they live in a lovely town with colonial houses, year-round flowers, beautiful mountains, and extraordinary coffee farms. The best thing about traveling to this Magical Village is the pastoral scenes: milkmen and their milk, women cooking homemade tortillas, and the elderly praying at sunrise at the church.
