Summer

The heat of the second season of the year is making itself felt, and with the first rains nearly the entire country succumbs to the exuberant greenness.

Among the twelve towns that we introduce you to in this section, you will find perfect locations for sporting activities and for contemplating nature, places such as Mazamitla in Jalisco, Jalpan in the Sierra Gorda range, and Santiago in the region of canyons in the festivals in the summer. In Parras everything is jubilation when it is time for the grape harvest, while Zacatlan comes to life with the apple festival, and Huamantla flourishes among carpets of sawdust. At this time of year, Xico, Cuitzeo, and Malinalco celebrate their patron saints with colorful parades that nearly all the inhabitants of the towns participate in with great fervor. Tula, in Tamaulipas, celebrates one more anniversary of its founding. The cooper artisans of Santa Clara del Cobre wait for August to show off the best of their art, while Mineral de Pozos puts aside its small town ambiance to dream a bit among the long notes of the Blues Festival.
