The state of Jalisco beautiful landscapes cradles two certified beaches: the Los Camarones Beach and the Garza Blanca Beach. Camarones Beach was named for the abundance of crustaceans, as well as the local cuisine, that will not disappoint you; on Garza Blanca Beach you will have an enviable view of the Sierra Madre and you will be able to participate in all kinds of water sports on its white sandy beach. Be amazed by the natural landscape framed by villas and condominiums that have been the set for many films.
Why were they certified?
The clean waters and the absence of noise and the bustle of hotels near these beaches in Jalisco have turned them into an actual paradise for visitors and locals. Amid this atmosphere of freedom there are specific rules that help preserve this natural space where we are invited to respect the fauna, especially the turtle nests. Among other things, camping, the use of motor boats, introducing glass bottles, fishing, campfires, littering and extracting coral, fish, or sand from the beach is prohibited.
What are the activities in which I can participate?
To relax, have fun or enjoy the landscape, the certified beaches of Jalisco offer the best natural landscapes and recreational activities. You do not need to worry about your safety as the beach is staffed by lifeguards and a safety zone is delimited. We suggest you come prepared with drinks and food as there are no stores nearby. Around these beaches you will be able to admire the making of typical regional crafts by the hands of local women and children.
