In the northwest part of the state of Guerrero are two scenic bays, side-by-side. One holds the boutique fishing village of Zihuatanejo, the other the luxurious resort city of Ixtapa. People tend to refer to them together, as Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo.

These are two of Mexico´s most popular bays which enjoy not only the scenic view, but an enviable climate all year round. In this destination you can find lots of activities such as: play first-class golf courses, swim with dolphins or in water parks, surf, take kayak tours to the Island of Ixtapa, and just enjoy the 11.2 miles of beaches.

Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International Airport is 15 minutes from downtown Zihuatanejo, and is served by direct flights from, among others, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Vancouver, and Minneapolis, and an air taxi service to Acapulco.
